Water Mill Farm,

Northwold,

May 10th 1900.

My Dear Alice,

I felt such loss for both you and Willie, when I heard you had lost dear little

Elsie, it was such a sudden blow, however many more there are they

are always missed, but I think there is sweet comfort in the thought of

the death of a little child, for of such are the Kingdom of Heaven, I was

glad that May had got home before this happened, she would have been sorry

if she had been away. I hope you are getting strong again with loving

sympathy to all.

From

            Your Affectionate Cousins,

                        Sharle Offley. (Charlotte Offley)
